My Experimental Work
The Monsters are Revolting
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9DpgQM06iE)
Response to 'Vostok' by 'Pocket Magnetic' (Café Concrete) - montage of photographs - pixilation and film using a collection of UV responsive toys and a fly eye lens - In this work, particular importance was paid to the timing of someone else’s sound piece to my video - I really like this work. To me, it shows that I have matured and developed my ideas and editing processes.

Here again the work is in response to 'I will not go on’ by 'Tear Down the Lies' ( Café Concrete ) - I really tried to broaden the experimental feel by filming the reflections and using a mobile phone to record. - I wanted to express an apocalyptic and dystopian view point of the Civic Centre, which kind of reflects how I feel about it.
Overall, despite my early reservations, the experimental assignments gave me opportunity to progress and mature my approach to my work.
